Introducing the Water Dispenser mod, designed to seamlessly integrate into your existing gameplay experience with minimal disruption while offering new strategic possibilities for water procurement and storage.

Vanilla-Friendly Design

The core philosophy behind this mod is to feel as natural as possible within the established Project Zomboid world. It strives for a vanilla-like implementation, ensuring that the added features don’t feel out of place or overly complex. When you load a world with this mod active, any existing vanilla water dispensers will be automatically converted to the mod’s custom version, preserving your existing world state.

Key Features and Gameplay Enhancements

The Water Dispenser mod introduces several quality-of-life improvements and new mechanics:

  • Standardized Capacity: The custom dispenser holds a familiar 250 units of water, mirroring the capacity of its vanilla counterpart.
  • Versatile Water Jugs: Water Jugs now offer the flexibility to be filled with gasoline, providing a total of 250 units of fuel storage.
  • Dynamic Water Levels: Dispensers will spawn with a random amount of water, adding an element of unpredictability to your initial resource gathering.
  • Interactive Refills: The time it takes to take or place a bottle at the dispenser is now influenced by the current water level, adding a small but immersive touch.

Reverting to Vanilla

For those who wish to return to the original Project Zomboid water mechanics, a dedicated disabler mod is included. Simply enable the `WaterDispenserDisabler` mod and disable the main `WaterDispenser` mod. Once a custom dispenser is detected, it will revert back to its vanilla state. This option ensures you have full control over your gameplay experience and can easily uninstall the mod’s effects when desired.

This mod is available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, and Russian, making it accessible to a global player base.
