From there, you can select an upgrade tier based on the materials you’ve gathered and your character’s crafting skills. Each upgrade builds upon the container’s original capacity, meaning the benefits truly stack up over time, allowing for incredible storage potential.

Crafting Your Expanded Arsenal

The mod offers distinct upgrade paths for both wooden and metal containers, each requiring specific resources and carpentry or welding skills:

• Wooden Containers: Upgrades range from Small (+10% base) to Major (+100% base), requiring planks and nails. Higher tiers demand higher Carpentry skill levels.
• Metal Containers: Similar tiers are available, but these require sheet metal and screws, and progress hinges on your Welding skill.

The system is designed for additive growth. For instance, a container with a base capacity of 50 could see its capacity double, then double again with subsequent Major upgrades, reaching substantial storage volumes.

What You Can (and Can’t) Boost

This mod significantly enhances the utility of common furniture and containers essential for base building and organization, including cabinets, shelves, refrigerators, and crates. Even containers with distinct sections, like fridges and freezers, can be upgraded independently. However, it’s important to note that bags, backpacks, vehicles, and unfortunately, corpses, remain unaffected by these storage enhancements.
