True Actions: Sit and Lie Down in Project Zomboid (Build 41+)

Ever wished you could truly relax after a long day of zombie survival? With the True Actions mod, you can! This fantastic addition brings the much-requested ability to sit and lie down on various furniture items, adding a new layer of immersion to your Project Zomboid experience. Designed specifically for Build 41, this mod enhances your survivor’s downtime, making those quiet moments between scavenging runs feel more authentic.

Act 1: Take a Seat

Tired of your survivor standing around awkwardly while reading a book or enjoying a meal? Act 1 of True Actions introduces the ability to sit on over 160 different objects. From sturdy chairs and plush armchairs to comfortable sofas, your survivor can now take a load off. Crucially, while seated, all your usual activities remain accessible. Animations for reading, eating, drinking, and more will play seamlessly, allowing for a more believable roleplaying experience.

Please note: Due to engine limitations, sitting is currently only possible on furniture objects that are oriented to face south or east.

Act 2: Recline and Rest

When the day’s dangers have subsided and you need a proper rest, Act 2 has you covered. This part of the mod unlocks the ability to lie down on beds, sofas, and a wide array of other suitable surfaces. With over 200 potential tiles for reclining, you’ll find plenty of spots to catch some Z’s. A well-rested survivor is a more effective survivor, after all!

Important consideration: Similar to sitting, lying down is not available on certain beds, specifically those facing north or west.
