The handy “Find” button allows you to sort your data by name or creation date, keeping your digital life organized amidst the chaos.

Finding and Using Your Palm Pilot

Palm Pilots are exceedingly rare, appearing procedurally as loot in locations fitting for an office worker, such as professional offices, electronics stores, and even on the occasional zombie. The mod integrates with Project Zomboid’s sandbox settings, allowing you to adjust spawn rates from “None” to making them even more common.

Using the device is intuitive. Double-click the Palm Pilot or select “Open Palm Pilot” to interact with its interface. It defaults to your secondary hand when equipped, and you can drag the top bezel to reposition the display. Closing the interface is as simple as pressing Space, Escape, or the green power button. The mod even incorporates physical hardware buttons for quick application shortcuts.

In multiplayer, Palm Pilots are fully supported. Beam transfers are server-validated and require players to be in close proximity and on the same floor. Even devices stored in bags can be detected. Survivors can also disable the “Beam” function on their device for added privacy.
