Introducing The Wardrobe

One of the standout features of NeatUI Equipment is its innovative Wardrobe system. This allows you to save complete outfits, including specific clothing items and their colors, for quick application later. The Wardrobe intelligently searches your immediate surroundings – including your inventory and nearby containers – to find the components of a saved outfit. If an item is missing, it will tell you precisely what’s needed while still applying the rest of the outfit. This feature is particularly useful for quickly changing gear for different situations or simply reapplying a favorite ensemble without hunting for individual pieces. Outfits are saved as descriptions, ensuring they persist even if the original garments are lost or destroyed.

A Visual Inventory Panel

NeatUI Equipment introduces a dedicated panel that displays your character in a centered 3D view, allowing you to see exactly how items look when equipped. This panel features logically arranged slots mirroring the game’s hotbar design, with dedicated spaces for both hands.

• A dynamic 3D representation of your character as you equip and unequip items.
• Organized slots on the sides and corners for easy access and management.
• Visual indicators for layered clothing, allowing you to expand and manage them with ease.
• The hotbar displayed directly below your character for complete visibility.

Intuitive Controls and Customization

The mod provides a host of user-friendly controls to enhance your gameplay. A simple click on the bag icon next to your inventory opens the equipment panel. Drag and drop functionality allows for effortless equipping, unequipping, and swapping of items. You can also unhook the panel to reposition and resize it freely to suit your preferences. The mod includes four key buttons in the title bar for quick actions: chaining the panel to snap back into place, hiding the equipped section, stripping or re-equipping all items instantly, and opening the Wardrobe. For added convenience, customizable hotkeys and controller support are also integrated.

NeatUI Equipment requires the NeatUI Framework and is designed for seamless compatibility with other Neat mods, as well as CleanUI and Inventory Tetris, ensuring a cohesive and enhanced user interface for your Project Zomboid survival experience.
