Collectible Die Cast Cars

Collectible Die Cast Cars

Add a New Layer of Collectible Fun to Your Project Zomboid Survival

No matter how dire the situation in Project Zomboid, the human desire to collect and curate can persist. This mod introduces a compelling new collectible to the game: miniature die-cast cars. Scour the desolate landscape of Kentucky for these tiny treasures and build your own impressive collection.

Discovering Your Fleet

These miniature vehicles aren’t just lying around waiting to be picked up. You’ll need to actively hunt for them, with specific locations offering the best chances of a find. Keep an eye out in places like:

  • Toy stores
  • Residential houses
  • Garages

These locations can now yield special Diecast Car Boxes. Open these containers to reveal the die-cast car within, adding an element of surprise and excitement to your scavenging runs.

A Variety of Boxes and Rarities

The mod offers different types of boxes, each catering to specific collecting goals:

  • Normal Box: Contains a wide variety of cars, including both vanilla and bonus vehicles.
  • Motorious Collection Box: Specifically houses vehicles from the Motorious Zone Vehicle Pack.
  • Special Collection Box: Focuses on the rarer and more uncommon finds.

The die-cast cars themselves come in three distinct rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, and Rare. Common cars include standard vanilla models in various colors, along with factory colors for vehicles from the included vehicle pack. Uncommon cars feature vanilla models in special, eye-catching colors. The coveted Rare tier is reserved for special vehicles, often adorned with unique liveries.

More Than Just Miniatures

For those who appreciate the lore and details, some cars from the Motorious Zone collection also come with collectible cards. These cards provide fascinating statistics and a brief history of each vehicle, viewable in a similar manner to in-game maps. With a total of 378 unique cars to discover, this mod provides an expansive and engaging new hobby for your Project Zomboid playthrough.
