Key Gameplay Enhancements

The Aquatsar Yacht Club B42 mod focuses on refining the sailing mechanics and introducing new visual elements to improve your time on the water. For keyboard users, dedicated keybinds have been implemented to provide direct control over sail direction, offering a more intuitive and responsive sailing experience. The mod also introduces visible models for the TireTube and Lifebuoy items, making them more than just abstract inventory additions. These items now have a tangible presence in the game world and their effects when swimming have been adjusted to be more impactful.

Sailing Mechanics Refined

Further streamlining the user experience, the process of uninstalling sails has been updated to target a more appropriate container. This change ensures a smoother workflow when managing your nautical equipment, allowing you to spend less time fiddling with menus and more time exploring.

Known Limitations and Support

While the Aquatsar Yacht Club B42 mod offers exciting new features, a few limitations are noted. Joystick compatibility has not been tested due to a lack of necessary hardware. Multiplayer functionality is still under active development and may not be fully stable. A workaround exists for a specific control issue that can occur after respawning a character: quitting and reloading the game will resolve the up and down control problem. For single-player users experiencing minor visual glitches with shore corners, a separate mod, “Fix Shore Corner,” is available. Feedback on vehicle tuning is welcome, as these may require further adjustments.

Please note that this mod is not compatible with version B42.12. For any questions or bug reports, the official Project Zomboid Discord server, specifically the mod_support channel, is the recommended place to seek assistance. When reporting issues, providing detailed context and any relevant error logs will greatly aid in resolving them.
