Alarm Syndrome: Streamlining Your Project Zomboid Experience

In the unforgiving world of Project Zomboid, managing your resources and time is paramount. Even the smallest conveniences can make a significant difference in your fight for survival. The Alarm Syndrome mod introduces a much-needed quality-of-life improvement by making it easier to manage the alarm functions on digital watches and alarm clocks, ensuring you’re never caught off guard by an unnecessary alert.

Effortless Alarm Management

Alarm Syndrome focuses on providing intuitive ways to interact with your timed devices. No longer will you need to delve deep into complex menus to simply turn off an alarm. This mod streamlines the process, allowing for quicker actions when every second counts.

Key Features of Alarm Syndrome

  • Visual Indicators: Never wonder if a device is set to alert you again. Alarm Syndrome displays clear icons directly on items that have an alarm configured. An active alarm is clearly distinguished from one that is currently ringing, providing instant visual feedback. If no alarm is active, no icon will appear, keeping your interface clean.
  • Quick Unset Menu: When an alarm is active, a dedicated menu option will appear, allowing you to disable the alarm with a single click. This bypasses the need to open the full alarm settings panel, saving valuable time. For added efficiency, you can even select multiple items and unset their alarms in a single operation.
  • Automatic Unsetting: Reduce the hassle of manually disabling alarms on newly acquired items. Alarm Syndrome can be configured to automatically unset alarms when an item with an alarm is added to your inventory or any container you are currently carrying.

Customizable Options for Every Survivor

Alarm Syndrome understands that playstyles vary. All of its core features are enabled by default, but you have the flexibility to tailor them to your preferences. Through the mod options menu, you can individually toggle the display of alarm icons, the quick unset menu, and the auto-unset functionality. This ensures the mod integrates seamlessly into your unique Project Zomboid experience.

This mod is confirmed to work with Build 41 and 42, and is fully compatible with multiplayer servers, offering a consistent and reliable enhancement for all survivors.
