WarpLink: Buildable Supply Teleporters
Revolutionize Your Colony’s Logistics with WarpLink
Tired of the tedious back-and-forth required to manage resources across your sprawling asteroid bases in Oxygen Not Included? WarpLink introduces a game-changing solution, allowing you to construct and precisely link Supply Teleporter Input and Output buildings. This mod empowers you to build sophisticated, cross-asteroid logistics networks, seamlessly transporting goods, liquids, and gases exactly where they need to be, all while maintaining the authentic feel of the base game.
Unleash Advanced Interstellar Transport
WarpLink expands upon the existing Supply Teleporter mechanics, offering unparalleled control and flexibility. You’re no longer limited by the single, fixed teleporter. Instead, you can build and deploy multiple Input and Output units, each assignable to a specific channel. This granular control enables you to establish dedicated routes between your various asteroid colonies.
Key Features of WarpLink:
- Build and manage multiple Supply Teleporter Input and Output units, each constructible, deconstructable, and repairable.
- Transport solids via conveyor rails, liquids via pipes, and gases via pipes between any two designated asteroids.
- Assign unique channels (0-999) to each teleporter pair for precise network management. Settings are saved with your game.
- Intelligent detection automatically handles missing partners, duplicate endpoints, and same-asteroid connections, ensuring network stability.
- Enjoy clear visual feedback: malfunctioning endpoints display a red exclamation mark, while successful connections appear as “Normal.”
- The confusing vanilla “Teleporter Disabled” prompt is removed, providing a cleaner interface.
Seamless Integration and Usage
Getting WarpLink up and running is straightforward. After researching the necessary technology and constructing your teleporter units, simply select a channel number in the building’s side panel. Ensure both the Input and Output units are set to the same non-zero channel, and crucially, that they are located on different asteroids. Once activated by your duplicants, these teleporters will function as a direct conduit for your chosen resource type. Remember, each non-zero channel can only support one Input and one Output pair; attempting to pair more will result in a conflict. For reverse transport, simply build an additional pair and assign them a different channel.
WarpLink requires the Spaced Out! DLC to function. It integrates seamlessly with existing conveyor, liquid, and gas pipe systems, offering a powerful, yet intuitive, upgrade to your colony’s logistical capabilities.
