The Smarter Container mod elegantly solves this by adding two key configuration options directly to your storage containers:

• Total Capacity: This setting defines the maximum amount of a specific resource you want the container to hold.
• Refill Threshold: This crucial percentage determines the point at which the container will begin requesting new deliveries.

With these settings, a container will only request replenishment once its contents fall below the specified Refill Threshold. Once a delivery is made and the container reaches its Total Capacity, it will remain quiet, ceasing requests until the level drops below the threshold again. This significantly reduces the frequency of “topping off” tasks.

Example of Smarter Logic

Imagine a container configured with a Total Capacity of 20,000 kg and a Refill Threshold of 30%. This container will not prompt for any deliveries until its contents deplete to below 6,000 kg. At that point, it will request materials until it is refilled back to its maximum capacity of 20,000 kg. This targeted approach ensures efficient restocking only when truly necessary.
