Mining Reimagined goes beyond simply boosting resource gains. It offers a flexible system that can fundamentally alter how you approach resource management. The core of the mod lies in its ability to adjust the global mining yield multiplier. You can set this to a modest 50% for a tougher challenge, revert to the default 100% vanilla experience, or double your gains with a 200% multiplier for a truly abundant asteroid.

Skill-Based Scaling: Rewarding Your Experts

For those who prefer their Duplicants’ abilities to have a tangible impact, Mining Reimagined introduces an optional Skill-Based Scaling feature. With this enabled, Duplicants with lower mining skills will retrieve the standard 50% of a tile’s mass. However, as your Duplicants gain experience and level up their Digging skill, they can progressively excavate up to 100% of the tile’s mass. Furthermore, you can even configure the mod to allow yields exceeding 100%, letting your most skilled Duplicants achieve extraordinary results.

Strategic Material Exclusions

To prevent potential balance issues and maintain the challenge associated with rare materials, Mining Reimagined includes a robust Material Exclusions system. By default, highly valuable or game-altering elements like Diamond, Niobium, and Oxylite are excluded from boosted yields, retaining their vanilla rates. However, this system is fully configurable, allowing you to add or remove any element ID from the exclusion list, giving you complete strategic freedom.
