This mod introduces innovative lighting solutions designed to be more convenient and effective for a variety of base layouts and needs.

Introducing New Lighting Possibilities

Expanded Lights brings three brand-new lighting structures to your build menu, each with unique advantages:

* **Floodlight:** This robust, rotatable industrial light provides a powerful, unwavering 2000 Lux across a wide 5×16 area. While it comes with a decor penalty, its immense reach makes it ideal for illuminating large work zones or specific industrial sectors.
* **LED Light:** Embrace high-tech efficiency with the LED Light. Consuming a mere 2W and producing absolutely no heat, this versatile light illuminates a circular area and can be constructed virtually anywhere, even underwater, offering unparalleled placement freedom.
* **Tile Light:** A discreet and space-saving solution, the Tile Light can be embedded directly within other tiles. Consuming 5W, it offers similar illumination to a standard Ceiling Light but with the significant advantage of being a background layer building, seamlessly integrating into your base’s design.

Enhanced Existing Lights

Beyond the new additions, Expanded Lights also fine-tunes existing lighting elements for improved gameplay:

* **Ceiling Light:** The Ceiling Light now emits significantly less heat, producing only 100 DTU/s. Furthermore, its illumination pattern has been adjusted to a more focused semicircle.
* **Lamp:** This classic light fixture becomes more energy-efficient, now consuming only 4W. Like the Ceiling Light, its heat output is drastically reduced to 100 DTU/s.

By offering more specialized and efficient lighting options, the Expanded Lights mod allows you to create more aesthetically pleasing and functionally superior bases in Oxygen Not Included.
