Introducing the Ledbury Estate Prefab Housing Mod for Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic

Enhance your Soviet Republic with a touch of mid-20th century architectural history. This mod introduces a series of imposing prefab housing blocks, inspired by real-life structures from London. Perfect for players looking to diversify their urban landscapes and add a distinct visual flair to their growing republics.

Architectural Inspiration

The core of this mod features prefab blocks that draw heavily from iconic 1960s housing estates. Players can choose from four distinct heights, each offering unique visual and functional benefits:

• 10-Storey Variant: Based on the Morris Walk Estate, providing a mid-rise housing solution.
• 14-Storey Variant: Faithfully recreated from the Ledbury Estate’s distinctive H-shaped tower blocks, this option offers significant capacity.
• 18- and 22-Storey Fictional Towers: For those who dream of reaching for the sky, these imposing structures add a dramatic vertical element to your cities.

Historical Context and Gameplay Integration

These buildings are not just aesthetically pleasing; they are designed to seamlessly integrate into the gameplay of Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. The prefab blocks offer excellent housing quality and varied worker capacities, making them a strategic choice for managing your population’s needs. The 10-storey and 14-storey versions are directly inspired by real-world housing projects, adding a layer of authentic detail. While the taller fictional blocks provide a striking visual, players may note their inherent instability, reflecting real-world structural challenges of ambitious high-rise construction from the era.
