Enhance Your Soviet Republic with the Kommunalschule Mod

Elevate the educational infrastructure of your Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic with the innovative Kommunalschule mod. This mod introduces a unique and architecturally significant school building designed to foster learning, community, and scientific advancement within your republic.

A Hub of Learning and Culture

Inspired by the principles of social-humanist reform architecture, the Kommunalschule is more than just an educational facility; it’s envisioned as a vibrant social house of learning. The design thoughtfully integrates a monumental façade with functionally organized, light-oriented school areas. Key architectural elements, including a striking portal, a clock, a pictorial mosaic, and an observatory, create a programmatic axis emphasizing community, temporal awareness, artistic appreciation, and scientific knowledge. This approach contrasts the building’s impressive presence with its practical and engaging interior spaces, aimed at nurturing young minds.

Pedagogical Design for Efficiency

The mod focuses on creating a building that embodies the ideal of education accessible to all, irrespective of background, as enshrined in the constitution. While the initial construction cost may be slightly higher than the standard large ES school, the Kommunalschule offers significant operational advantages. Its specialized design requires a reduced academic staff of only 20 individuals, contributing to long-term efficiency in managing your republic’s educational needs. The integration of regional building techniques with modern construction methods ensures a durable and aesthetically pleasing addition to your settlements.
