Iconic Soviet Monument Arrives in Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic
Bring a piece of iconic Soviet history to your republic with the “Worker and Kolkhoznitza” mod for Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic. This stunning mod faithfully recreates one of the most recognizable symbols of Soviet ideology, representing the powerful union of the working class and the peasantry.
A Monument of Historical Significance
Originally conceived by architect Boris Iofan and brought to life by sculptor Vera Mukhina, the “Worker and Kolkhoznitza” statue first captivated audiences at the 1937 Paris International Exposition. Initially gracing the USSR Pavilion, its journey to Moscow saw it placed on a lower pedestal, a decision that reportedly displeased Mukhina as it diminished the sculpture’s intended dynamism. This mod offers a chance to experience the monument as intended, with options reflecting both its historical context and artistic vision.
Two Imposing Representations
This mod introduces the “Worker and Kolkhoznitza” in two distinct and impactful forms:
- The USSR Pavilion (Museum): This impressive structure functions as a museum within your republic. It can accommodate up to 20 employees and attract 100 visitors, boasting an attraction score of 4.0 to enhance the appeal of your growing settlements.
- The Monument on a Low Pedestal: A direct representation of the statue on its less prominent base, this version focuses on its symbolic power. It exerts a significant influence on citizen loyalty, boosting it by 9.0% within an 800-meter radius, fostering a sense of national pride and unity among your populace.
Whether you aim to boost cultural appeal or solidify the loyalty of your citizens, the “Worker and Kolkhoznitza” mod provides a historically rich and visually striking addition to your Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic experience. Add this monumental piece to your republic and let its powerful message of unity resonate throughout your carefully crafted Soviet state.
