Experience the Rhythm with Terraria Bounce

Get ready to add a whole new dimension of fun to your tModLoader adventures with the Terraria Bounce mod! This unique modification injects a vibrant, beat-synced animation into the world, making every step you take feel like a dance. Forget static environments; with Terraria Bounce, your world comes alive with infectious rhythm.

How to Get Your Groove On

Implementing Terraria Bounce is as simple as a single piece of Wood. You’ll craft a special item called a “Record Player,” which functions as your personal boombox. Once crafted, you can place it in the world. Right-clicking the Record Player will toggle the music and the signature “bounce” effect on and off. For those who prefer to keep the party moving, the Record Player can also be equipped as an accessory. When equipped, the music and the delightful bounce effect will follow you, creating a portable dance floor wherever you roam.

What Makes Terraria Bounce So Special?

The core of Terraria Bounce lies in its beat-synced animations, all synchronized to a lively 135 BPM track. This isn’t just about your character; the effect extends to a variety of entities within your tModLoader world:

  • Players
  • Town NPCs
  • Enemies
  • Pets
  • Minions

All these elements will engage in a charming squash-and-stretch animation originating from their feet, perfectly timed to the music. The Record Player itself is a visual treat, a 2×2 object featuring beat-synced frames, a neon glow, and pulsating rings that react to the rhythm.

The mod also offers customization through its client configuration. You can adjust the “Pixelation” setting for the boombox, with a default of 4 that gives it a classic tModLoader look. Experimenting with values from 1 (original) to 8 (extra chunky) allows you to fine-tune the visual style. And for a final touch of whimsy, the mod card in the mods menu features a delightful cascade of bunnies that bounce along with the title, adding a playful flair. Dive into Terraria Bounce and let the rhythm move you!
