Seamless Spectating Features

Team Spectate introduces an intuitive interface accessible directly from the in-game menu, positioned conveniently below the team selection. Once activated, you can easily select any teammate to view their perspective. The mod intelligently handles spectating, ensuring you can only observe players who are currently alive and on your team. Players not on a team, often referred to as “neutral” or “white” entities, are also available for spectating. If a player is unavailable for spectating, their corresponding button will be visually indicated, keeping you informed.

Advanced Functionality and Customization

Beyond basic spectating, Team Spectate offers advanced options to tailor the experience. You can choose to automatically spectate the closest player when your character falls in battle, providing immediate insight into the ongoing fight. This feature can be disabled if preferred. Similarly, the mod can be configured to stop spectating automatically when you respawn, allowing you to quickly return to your own gameplay. The spectating menu also includes a filter to easily locate and spectate bosses, and a hotkey can be set to cycle through available players, streamlining your ability to switch perspectives quickly.

Team Spectate is a community-driven project, with its source code available on GitHub under the GNU GPLv3 license.
