More Town Pets
Enrich Your tModLoader Town with More Town Pets!
Are you looking to add a little more life and personality to your tModLoader settlements? The “More Town Pets” mod is a delightful addition that introduces a charming collection of new companions to inhabit your burgeoning towns. These aren’t just decorative; each new pet brings its own unique flavor and can be acquired through various in-game activities, encouraging exploration and engagement with the world.
Discover Your New Companions
This mod thoughtfully expands the roster of available town pets, offering players more options to personalize their bases and settlements. Each new pet comes with its own specific license, making their acquisition a small adventure in itself. Whether you’re a seasoned explorer, a diligent angler, or a keen observer of tModLoader’s unique events, there’s a pet waiting for you.
Meet the Adorable Additions
The “More Town Pets” mod currently features five distinct new town pets, each with its own method of discovery:
- Town Goldfish: Adds a splash of aquatic charm to your town. Its license becomes available from the Zoologist during periods of rain.
- Town Eyeball: A perhaps more unsettling, yet intriguing, addition. The license for this peculiar pet has a rare chance of being dropped by the formidable Eye of Cthulhu.
- Town Flinx: This frosty companion can be found in snowy locales. Obtain its license from the Skeleton Merchant when they appear in an underground snow biome, but only after you’ve bested the Deerclops.
- Town Turtle: A slow and steady friend for your town. The license for the Town Turtle can be rarely fished up while in a surface forest biome.
- Town Pumpkling: Embracing the spooky spirit, this pet is linked to autumnal festivities. Its license is rarely dropped by the notorious Pumpking.
What’s Next for More Town Pets?
The developers behind “More Town Pets” are committed to expanding the mod’s offerings. Future updates are planned to include exciting variations on the existing town pets, introducing new appearances and possibly even entirely new breeds of companions. Additionally, there are aspirations to enhance the visual fidelity of some of the pet models, further integrating them into the tModLoader world.
For those who meticulously track their NPC collections, “More Town Pets” is designed to be fully compatible with Census – Town NPC Checklist, ensuring a seamless integration into your existing modded experience.
