Cerebral Mod
Explore New Frontiers in tModLoader with Cerebral Mod
Dive into a wealth of new content designed to expand your tModLoader experience with Cerebral Mod. This comprehensive modification introduces a significant number of items, with a particular focus on fleshing out several unique and engaging classes. Whether you’re looking for fresh combat mechanics, expansive gear options, or innovative ways to play, Cerebral Mod offers a compelling upgrade.
Introducing New Playstyles
Cerebral Mod brings four distinct new classes to tModLoader, two of which are fully realized and ready for adventure. The Defender class reimagines sentry weaponry, converting their damage type to a dedicated sentry category and offering a new strategic approach to combat. For those who prefer their attacks to dance to their own tune, the Esper class features weapons that dynamically follow your cursor, demanding precise aiming and movement. While still in development, the Minstrel and Trickster classes offer glimpses into future mechanics, focusing on rhythmic timing and tactical positioning with throwing weapons, respectively.
A Universe of New Items
Beyond the classes, Cerebral Mod boasts an astonishing variety of new gear and equipment:
- Over 700 unique new items.
- 10 complete new armor sets, complemented by an additional 39 helmet pieces.
- Numerous new accessories to further customize your character.
- A vast selection of new weapons to suit all playstyles.
Vanilla Enhancements and Configuration
Cerebral Mod doesn’t just add; it also refines the core tModLoader experience. Key vanilla changes include making sentry weapons deal sentry damage by default, with corresponding armor and accessories buffing sentry power. The Flying Knife receives a telekinetic damage overhaul, benefiting from directional momentum. Crucially, all these vanilla adjustments are fully configurable, allowing you to tailor the mod’s impact precisely to your preferences.
While Cerebral Mod is open-source and actively developed with a roadmap for future expansions including more classes, items, and cross-mod support, players should be aware of a few known issues. These range from minor visual quirks to occasional functional inconsistencies with certain items. The developers are continually working to address these and improve the overall experience. Prepare to explore a reimagined tModLoader with Cerebral Mod!
