Transform your nights in tModLoader with the Brighter Days mod, an immersive experience designed to make resting in-game more engaging. Commissioned by Vatheryl and developed by Dice, this mod introduces unique soundtracks and dreamscapes that unfold each time you climb into bed. Forget simply skipping the night; with Brighter Days, your slumber becomes an adventure.

Drift Off to Soothing Melodies

As soon as you interact with a bed, the mod triggers special “Lullaby” and “Brighter Days” soundtracks. These calming tunes set the perfect atmosphere for rest, preparing you for whatever lies beyond the veil of sleep.

Enter the Dreamscapes

Upon going to sleep, you’ll be presented with a choice: to embrace the “Sweetest of Dreams” or brave “The Nightmare Realm.” This decision significantly impacts your nighttime experience, with a 60% chance of the former and a 40% chance of the latter.

The Nightmare Realm

Should you find yourself in The Nightmare Realm, prepare for a challenging encounter. You’ll be thrust into a unsettling landscape blending Corruption and Crimson. Soon, hostile town NPCs will emerge, attacking in waves. Overcoming this onslaught rewards you with a unique interactive trophy. For a swift exit, simply jump into the void-like holes scattered throughout the realm.

Sweetest of Dreams

Alternatively, enter Sweetest of Dreams and find yourself floating amidst the clouds. After a short period, beneficial buffs will begin to fall. Collect these buffs to gain advantages in the overworld—five in pre-hardmode and ten in hardmode, each lasting two minutes. To awaken, locate the Shimmered Clothier’s floating island and speak with him.

Brighter Days adds a captivating layer to the nocturnal aspect of tModLoader, offering both serene and perilous journeys during your rest.
