Master Your Aim in tModLoader with the Aimbot Mod
Tired of juggling precise aiming with the fast-paced action of tModLoader? Introducing the Aimbot mod, a powerful tool designed to automate your targeting so you can focus on dodging, strategizing, and surviving the toughest encounters.
Effortless Targeting, Enhanced Gameplay
The Aimbot mod takes the burden of constant aiming off your shoulders. By automatically locking onto targets, you’re free to concentrate on evasive maneuvers and unleashing devastating attacks. While not infallible, especially against the most erratic bosses, it excels with weapons that have broad areas of effect, making even chaotic battles more manageable.
The mod’s targeting logic intelligently adapts to different weapon types. Certain ranged weapons, like guns, can maintain their aim on targets even as they leave the screen. Other weapons might require the target to re-enter your view. Regardless of the weapon, the Aimbot will deselect a target if it drifts too far away, ensuring you’re always engaging relevant threats.
Key Features and Control Options
Getting started with the Aimbot mod is straightforward. You’ll need to assign custom keybinds within your tModLoader controls:
- Aimbot Key: Toggles the aimbot functionality on and off.
- Cycle Mode Key: Switches between different targeting algorithms: TargetClosest and ClearestLine.
- Switch Target Key: Allows manual selection of targets when in ClearestLine mode.
Understanding Targeting Modes
The Aimbot offers two distinct targeting modes to suit various combat scenarios:
TargetClosest Mode
In TargetClosest mode, the aimbot will prioritize the enemy nearest to your cursor. It will automatically switch targets if multiple enemies are present, ensuring your offensive pressure remains consistent.
ClearestLine Mode
ClearestLine mode provides a more tactical approach. The aimbot attempts to identify targets that are closest to the direct line between your cursor and your character, while also ensuring they are not obstructed by environmental obstacles like walls. If multiple valid targets are detected, you can use the Switch Target key to manually select your preferred enemy, indicated by an arrow above their head.
Once a target is locked, you’ll see three spinning triangles orbiting it. You can then move your cursor freely, and your weapon will continue to engage the designated target. Should the current target become unassailable (e.g., due to line of sight being broken), your weapon will revert to aiming directly at your cursor.
Additionally, the Aimbot mod has compatibility with healer items from the Thorium mod, automatically targeting teammates. Any discrepancies found with these or other healer items are welcome feedback.
