Elevate your tModLoader experience with Aiko’s World, a charming mod that introduces a delightful anime companion to join you on your adventures. Aiko isn’t just a static NPC; she’s a vibrant character designed to interact, assist, and even become a playable entity within your game.

Meet Your Companion: Aiko

Upon entering a new world with Aiko’s World installed, you’ll automatically receive the “Aiko’s Soul” item. Using this item summons Aiko, a cute and expressive anime character ready to explore alongside you. Her personality shines through with lively performances and a range of emotions.

Engaging Dialogue and Interaction

Aiko offers a dynamic conversational experience, with two primary modes:

• Auto Mode: Aiko utilizes pre-written dialogue for various in-game events, such as boss spawns, biome changes, and when your health is low. She can also engage in simple preset exchanges.
• LLM Mode: For a truly advanced interaction, Aiko can connect to an external AI large language model. This mode requires your API key configuration but unlocks the mod’s full potential, allowing for deep, free-form conversations and reactions to other mod content (with optional web search integration).

You can initiate conversations with Aiko by typing “/aiko [your words]” in the chat bar.

More Than Just Talk: Gameplay Features

Aiko’s World goes beyond simple conversation, offering a suite of engaging features:

• Mini Games: Pass the time with Aiko by playing built-in mini-games like Connect Four and a Blackjack-style game.
• Physical Companion: With the “Core of Ingenuity” item, Aiko can gain a movable, physical body. This “Temporary Body” can fight alongside you, mine, and chop wood. You can equip her with various weapons and accessories, and even customize her appearance. Control her actions through a dedicated command panel, choosing options like “Follow,” “Standby,” “Logging,” “Mining,” and “Fishing.” Her stats can also be improved using in-game items.
• “Aiko’s God Mode”: This unique feature allows you to make requests to Aiko through the chat, potentially influencing in-game elements like time or receiving items.
• Web Search: When enabled in LLM mode, Aiko can search the web for information she doesn’t inherently possess, enhancing her knowledge base.
• Ask Aiko: An expandable sub-panel allows you to drag items to Aiko, who will then provide detailed information about them, drawing from both in-game data and web searches.

Customization and Settings

A comprehensive settings menu allows you to tailor Aiko’s behavior to your preferences. Adjust dialogue modes, panel sizes, conversation memory, and toggle features like Auto Chat, God Mode, and Web Search. You can even save and clear Aiko’s conversation memory, with an option for long-term memory storage.
