New Beginnings and Familiar Faces

Furtherance introduces three distinct new characters, each with their own Tainted counterparts, offering unique playstyles and perspectives on Isaac’s tormented world. These additions are accompanied by full completion mark unlocks, ensuring that every character offers a complete and rewarding journey through the game’s challenges. With a staggering 80 new items, 20 trinkets, and over 20 new pickups including cards and runes, the possibilities for synergistic builds and unexpected power-ups are significantly expanded.

Meet the Newcomers

• Jacob’s First Wife: This character begins with Heart Renovator, a unique item that interacts with red health. Players can strategically overflow their health, mend broken hearts, or embrace the broken state for tear-based benefits.
• One of the Twelve Apostles: Wielding the Keys to the Kingdom, this character can spare enemies, though bosses prove more resistant. Special interactions with angels and devil rooms promise unique strategic advantages.
• Moses’ Sister: Armed with Polydipsisa and Tambourine, this prophetess unleashes arcing tears that create damaging puddles. Every twelfth shot unleashes a powerful whirlpool, and adjacent puddles extend each other’s duration. The Tambourine offers crowd control with knockback and creates temporary, massive puddles.
