Petra The Guide Imp isn’t just a cosmetic change; it’s a comprehensive replacement designed to seamlessly integrate into your game. From the moment you start a new world, you’ll be greeted by Petra, and your game will reflect this new companion. The mod ensures a consistent experience by altering several key elements:

• The Guide NPC will be renamed to Petra.
• Unique gore replacements for the Guide NPC have been implemented.
• Petra features a distinct map icon, making her easy to spot.
• The Guide Voodoo Doll has been replaced, and appropriately renamed to “Petra’s Voodoo Doll.”
• Even the demons associated with the Voodoo Doll have been altered to be carrying Petra’s Voodoo Doll, adding a touch of thematic consistency.

A minor quirk noted by the creator is that the NPC’s name will officially change to Petra after her first in-game death, adding a unique element to her survival narrative.

Development and Customization

This mod is the result of approximately 5 hours of dedicated work, with all sprites and assets meticulously designed by the creator using Adobe Photoshop CC and animated within the same software. Testing and refinement were carried out in Adobe After Effects CC. The creator is actively seeking feedback and encourages players to report any issues or suggest improvements.
