Unveiling the Giant Bee

The star of the show is the giant bee transformation itself. Inspired by the vanilla Terraria “Honeyed Goggles” bee mount, this design boasts impressive detail. While the wings are purely cosmetic, allowing for a sense of flight, you’ll rely on skillful double jumps to navigate the world. To enhance the unique look, horns or spikes have been added to the back of the bee’s head, and its front legs are held adorably upwards. The attack animations are also creatively redesigned, giving the impression of the bee wielding objects with its antennae, mouth, or front legs.

Acquiring the Frozen Stinger

To embark on your bee adventure, you’ll need to obtain the Frozen Stinger (formerly Lilith’s Necklace). This can be achieved by defeating wolves, now reskinned as Frost Bees, during the night in a Hardmode surface snow biome. The drop rate stands at a respectable 3.33% on normal difficulty and 4% on Expert and higher. Even the corrupted or crimson snow biomes will suffice. For those eager to dive in immediately, naming your character “Wolfpet” in Journey Mode will grant you the item right from the start.
