The YogSothothYardMod features two distinct new characters, each with their own unique mechanics and playstyles:

Grim Reaper · Tlipoca

Tlipoca offers a fascinating dual-form mechanic. In their Normal Form, they utilize standard cards, but by embracing their Reaper Form, they gain a significant Strength boost while sacrificing some block generation. This transformation is further enhanced by their starting relics:

• Little Red: This exclusive relic empowers Tlipoca by absorbing “Soul Droplets,” increasing their “slaughter level” to empower both cards and the character themselves.
• Ancient Mummy: A lifesaver, this relic can absorb a fatal blow for Tlipoca, with the ability to be replenished through specific cards.

Tlipoca also introduces intriguing new combat mechanics like “Soul Barrier,” which prevents block from decaying at the end of a turn, and “Soul Droplets,” which aid in combat and survival. Be mindful of “Addiction,” however, as neglecting certain actions can have dire consequences.

XialuLing brings a culinary twist to combat, focusing on self-enhancement and strategic resource management. Her gameplay revolves around two key mechanics:

• Lingering Flame: This buff grows as XialuLing heals, gains block, or defeats enemies. It can also be acquired through cards and used to power up attacks.
• Gourmet: Tied to her “Strange Pot” relic, this mechanic involves health management and special effects, accumulating charge for the pot.

Her exclusive relics, the “Strange Pot” and the “Ancient Mummy,” further define her unique approach to the Spire’s challenges.
