Unveiling Steve’s Arsenal

Steve arrives equipped with a dedicated set of tools to aid him on his journey. This includes:

  • 6 brand-new Relics designed to synergize with his unique abilities.
  • An impressive collection of over 70 new Cards, offering a wide array of offensive, defensive, and utility options.
  • 1 exclusive Event, adding narrative flavor and interesting choices to your ascents.

Mastering New Mechanics

At the heart of Steve’s gameplay are several innovative mechanics that demand careful management and clever execution.

Redstone Power: A Volatile Resource

Steve utilizes a unique resource called Redstone Power. This special power can stack up to 15 layers and resets at the start of each of your turns. The key lies in strategically clearing these layers: every 5 layers you deplete grant you valuable energy and allow you to draw an extra card, providing significant burst potential.

Ignite: Fueling Your Offensive

The Ignite keyword allows you to consume stacks of Redstone Power to trigger potent effects. By meeting the required Redstone Power cost, you can unleash devastating attacks or powerful buffs, turning your accumulated power into immediate advantage.

Overload: Managing Your Momentum

Counteracting the build-up of Redstone Power is the Overload mechanic. At the start of your turn, your Redstone Power is reduced by an amount equal to your current Overload stacks. This forces you to balance generating Redstone Power with the inevitable drain, creating a dynamic ebb and flow to your turns.

Durability: The Ephemeral Edge

Steve’s cards often feature Durability. This means cards will automatically Exhaust after being used a specific number of times indicated by their Durability value. This adds another layer of resource management, as you’ll need to keep an eye on which powerful cards are nearing their end.
