Core Mechanics: A High-Stakes Performance

This mod centers around the themes of a phantom thief, a gambler, and a master illusionist, introducing four distinct core mechanics designed for high-risk, high-reward gameplay.

• Mint: Forge your own unique chips, the Mintor’s signature asset. Steadily accumulate vast amounts of Mint to meet certain card requirements or convert them directly into power for combat.
• Debt: Engage in perilous gambles by acquiring Debt. “Advance your future” by taking on obligations, or use them as leverage to extort Spire monsters. Beware, however – without “Bankruptcy Protection,” your accumulated Debt can consume your very life at the end of each turn!
• Mirage Coin: Employ illusory magic that blurs the lines between reality and illusion. Generate ephemeral coins in your hand, possessing both “Void” and “Retain” properties. These coins grant you Mint while simultaneously cycling your hand, allowing you to manipulate opponents through combos like “Swap Trick” and “Mirror Casting.”
• Refund: Master the refined sleight-of-hand of a seasoned gambler. Unlike other archetypes that focus on discarding, Refund triggers unique effects when cards are in your discard pile at the end of your turn. This allows powerful moves to persist across turns, enabling spectacular, seamless combos.
