The ‘Fascination’ Mechanic: A Symphony of Power

At the heart of Luo Tianyi’s design lies the “Fascination” mechanic. This special counter builds as you play specific cards, rewarding you for chaining together synergistic actions.

• Building Fascination: Playing “Singing” cards grants a small amount of Fascination, while more potent “Melody” cards yield a greater increase.
• Unlocking Crescendos: When your Fascination reaches its peak, you gain the ability to add a free “Melody” (Extra) card directly into your current combat, instantly resetting your Fascination.
• Lingering Applause: Importantly, Fascination does not reset between combats, allowing for strategic planning across multiple encounters.
