Tomatekh’s Historical Religions

Expand Your Civilization VI Pantheon with Historical Religions

Bring a richer tapestry of faith and culture to your Sid Meier’s Civilization VI experience with Tomatekh’s Historical Religions mod. This comprehensive modification injects a wealth of pre-modern and indigenous belief systems into the game, offering a more authentic and diverse religious landscape for your burgeoning empires.

Deepen Your Civilizations’ Faith

Tomatekh’s Historical Religions addresses a common point of immersion by assigning historically relevant preferred religions to leaders who previously lacked them. Civilizations like the Aztecs and Greece, among others, will now align with faiths that resonate with their cultural and historical origins. The mod also enhances the visual presentation with several new generic icons and updates existing symbols for Catholicism and Eastern Orthodoxy, adding polish to your pantheon.

Key Features and Customization

This mod is designed to be fully compatible with all major expansions, including Gathering Storm, Rise and Fall, and the New Frontier Pass. For maximum flexibility, Tomatekh’s Historical Religions includes a detailed configuration file, allowing you to tailor the experience to your exact preferences. Key customization options include:

• Choosing between a “Lite” mode with essential new religions or a “Complete” mode with an extensive selection.
• Enabling or disabling individual religions to curate your world’s faiths.
• Randomizing leader preferences for unpredictable gameplay.
• Modifying custom icon sets and more.

Important Considerations

To ensure smooth gameplay, it is recommended to disable this mod when engaging with scenarios that implement their own unique religious systems. For multiplayer sessions, all participants must ensure they have identical configuration settings to avoid discrepancies.

Dive into a more historically grounded and religiously diverse world in Sid Meier’s Civilization VI with Tomatekh’s Historical Religions mod. Forge new paths of devotion and witness the impact of faith on your empire’s destiny.
