Töbtemür_Official: Fu Hao
Lead the Shang Dynasty with Fu Hao in Civilization VI
The rich history of ancient China is brought to life in Sid Meier’s Civilization VI with the addition of Fu Hao, a formidable leader for the Chinese civilization. As the queen and military commander to King Wu Ding of the Shang Dynasty, Fu Hao offers a unique playstyle focused on martial prowess and spiritual devotion.
The Rites of Sacrifice and War
Fu Hao’s signature leader ability, “The Rites of Sacrifice and War,” seamlessly blends military might with the strategic placement of Holy Sites. This ability grants both Melee and Anti-Cavalry units a significant +3 Combat Strength bonus. This advantage is further amplified by an additional +3 Combat Strength for these units after recruiting two Great Generals, rewarding players who invest in acquiring military leadership. Furthermore, training or purchasing Melee and Anti-Cavalry units becomes remarkably cost-effective in cities containing a Holy Site, reducing their Production, Gold, or Faith cost by 80%. This benefit is even more pronounced in captured cities with a Holy Site, slashing costs by 60%. To encourage early infrastructure development, cities not founded by Fu Hao will receive a substantial +100% Production bonus towards building Holy Sites and Encampments, ensuring a robust military and religious foundation.
Agenda: ‘Shang is the constant sovereign.’
Fu Hao’s agenda, “Shang is the constant sovereign,” reflects her desire for stability and strong alliances. She favors civilizations that are willing to commit to long-term alliances. Conversely, she strongly disapproves of those who conquer city-states or denounce and attack her allies, encouraging players to tread carefully in their diplomatic and expansionist endeavors.
