Siam’s Unique Strengths
Siam, as represented in this mod, offers distinct advantages that can redefine your approach to building an empire. Their civilization ability, “Sri Ayutthaya,” provides substantial benefits to cities located near rivers, offering increased Housing and Amenities. Furthermore, Specialty Districts adjacent to rivers yield bonus Food, and Siam receives an extra Envoy from Civics that grant them, encouraging strong diplomatic play.
Key features of Siam include:
* **Sri Ayutthaya (Unique Ability):** Cities by Rivers gain +2 Housing, +1 Amenity. Adjacent Specialty Districts provide +1 Food. Earn an additional Envoy from Civics that provide Envoys.
* **Chang Suek (Unique Unit):** A powerful Medieval era unit that replaces the Knight. While slower and more costly, it provides a significant combat bonus, granting adjacent units double experience from battles.
* **Floating Market (Unique District):** Replacing the Commercial Hub, this district provides +1 Culture and +1 Gold from worked Luxury Resources. This bonus is doubled if the district is built on Floodplains, making riverine locations exceptionally valuable.
