Civilization VI: Unveiling Mikecro’s Persona Pack for New Strategic Depth

Prepare to experience Sid Meier’s Civilization VI in a whole new light with Mikecro’s Persona Pack. This meticulously crafted mod introduces three distinct and animated leader personas, breathing fresh life into established rulers with unique abilities, agendas, and even new visual flair for two of them. Designed to expand strategic possibilities without altering core game mechanics, this pack offers a compelling new layer for dedicated players.

Jadwiga, the Scholar

Step into the robes of Jadwiga, reimagined as a beacon of academia. Her “Restorer of Krakow University” ability significantly boosts Great Prophet generation and accelerates Campus construction. Furthermore, Campus buildings now generate Faith equivalent to their Science output, and Great Scientists gain an extra charge. Jadwiga’s “Scholasticism” agenda rewards a focus on Science and the founding of a Religion, making her a natural ally for scientifically inclined civilizations, while frowning upon those who neglect intellectual pursuits.

Montezuma, the Tlacochcalcatl

Embrace the aggressive spirit of Montezuma, now the “Tlacochcalcatl.” His “Conquest of Oaxaca” ability introduces a fascinating mechanic where land melee units have a chance to capture enemy military units, converting them into Builders. Additionally, your capital and its adjacent cities gain a significant yield bonus for each City-State conquered, creating a powerful snowball effect. Montezuma’s “Flowery Wars” agenda makes him inherently hostile towards City-States, favoring aggressive expansion and disdainful of those who protect them.

Frederick Barbarossa, the Crusader

Lead the charge as Frederick Barbarossa, the “Crusader King.” With each new era, you’ll earn a powerful Hochmeister, a unique Great Person exclusive to this persona. These Hochmeisters offer substantial combat and religious support to nearby units, bolster fortified units with healing, and grant additional movement to religious units. Their distinct “Retire” effects add another layer of strategic consideration. Frederick’s “Crucesignatus” agenda aligns him with players who participate in Emergencies, especially those sharing his faith, and discourages religious divergence.
