Rule Arabia Anew with Abd al-Malik in Civilization VI

Prepare to reshape the destiny of Arabia with a brand-new leadership option: Abd al-Malik. This compelling modification for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI introduces a fresh perspective on leading the desert empire, focusing on a potent blend of spiritual fervor and economic might.

The Vision of Abd al-Malik

Abd al-Malik brings a unique strategic vision to the game, emphasizing the construction of magnificent Wonders and the astute management of resources. His leadership style encourages a specific approach to city development and diplomatic relations, offering seasoned players a new challenge and a distinct path to victory.

Key Features of the Abd al-Malik Mod

• Dome of the Rock: Cities with a Holy Site benefit from an accelerated Wonder construction rate, receiving a substantial +20% bonus towards their completion. This encourages players to prioritize spiritual districts to fuel their architectural ambitions.
• Economic Incentives: Desert and Desert Hills tiles are more valuable under Abd al-Malik’s rule, providing an enhanced +1 adjacency bonus to Commercial Hubs. This rewards players for settling and developing in arid terrains, creating prosperous economic centers.
• Diplomatic Leanings: Abd al-Malik favors civilizations that demonstrate a strong focus on Gold generation, leaving the monumental tasks of Wonder building to him. Conversely, he harbors a distinct displeasure towards those who possess more Wonders despite a weaker economic foundation.

This mod allows for an engaging new way to play as Arabia, integrating seamlessly with both the Gathering Storm and Rise & Fall expansions. Whether you are drawn to the allure of monumental construction or the intricacies of economic dominance, Abd al-Malik offers a rewarding and strategic gameplay experience.
