Embark on a journey of spiritual enlightenment and cultural preservation with the Haeinsa World Wonder mod for Sid Meier’s Civilization VI. This meticulously crafted addition introduces a magnificent structure steeped in history and offering significant in-game benefits to those who can harness its power.

The Legacy of Haeinsa

Originating in 802 AD on the sacred Mount Gaya in Korea, the temple of Haeinsa derives its name from the profound Buddhist concept of “Sagaramudra-samadhi,” symbolizing an enlightened mind as vast and reflective as the ocean. Legend tells of its construction as a gesture of gratitude for a miraculous healing, leading to the creation of a repository for the precious Tripitaka Koreana woodblocks. This architectural marvel has miraculously withstood the trials of invasion and conflict, preserving its invaluable heritage for centuries.

Unlocking Ancient Knowledge and Spiritual Insight

Integrating Haeinsa into your Civilization VI empire offers a unique path to advancement. This World Wonder is designed to accelerate your technological progress and bolster your cultural and spiritual output.

Key Features of the Haeinsa Mod:

  • Accelerated Research: Triggers Eurekas for Apprenticeship, Education, and Printing. If these technologies are already discovered or researched by another civilization, Haeinsa will instead complete them, offering a significant boost to your technological tree.
  • Post-Research Bonuses: Upon researching all three of the aforementioned technologies, Haeinsa grants a substantial +3 bonus to Science, Culture, and Faith each turn, fostering continued growth and stability.
  • Strategic Placement: To harness its full potential, Haeinsa must be constructed on a Hill tile adjacent to a Holy Site district, encouraging thoughtful city planning and synergistic district placement.
  • Cultural Treasures: The wonder provides three slots for Great Works of Writing, allowing you to showcase your civilization’s most profound literary achievements and enhance your Culture output.
  • Civic Requirement: Unlocked at the Civil Service civic, making it an accessible yet powerful mid-game addition to your burgeoning empire.
