His leader trait, “The Great Sun,” provides a significant advantage by making his cities immune to the effects of religious pressure from other civilizations. Furthermore, the outcomes of religious battles are disregarded within his domain, allowing for a more secure and independent religious footing. This trait synergizes exceptionally well with his starting technologies, Sailing and Shipbuilding, granting immediate access to naval units and embarkation. His cities also benefit from a strategic adjacency bonus, gaining +1 Production for each Water tile bordering their City Center, making coastal settlements particularly valuable.
