Lead the Hagstorian League with Clio Aite in Civilization VI

Enhance your Sid Meier’s Civilization VI experience with the Clio Aite mod, introducing a unique new leader and civilization to the game. Clio Aite, a charismatic vtuber from Phase Connect, now takes the helm of the Hagstorian League, offering a distinct playstyle centered around historical recording and endurance.

Clio Aite’s Leader Ability: Thriving Endurance

Clio Aite’s leadership is defined by her remarkable stamina, reflected in her “Thriving Endurance” ability. This bonus significantly rewards players for navigating through Golden Ages, providing a substantial +20% boost to all yields. Conversely, Dark Ages present a steeper challenge with a -40% yield penalty. The stakes are raised even higher after the Renaissance Era, where these yield modifiers are doubled, making era management crucial for maximizing your civilization’s growth. Furthermore, gaining an Era Score when achieving an Eureka or Civic Boost encourages a proactive approach to technological and cultural advancement.

The Hagstorian League’s Strengths

The Hagstorian League excels at chronicling history and fostering intellectual growth. Their civilization ability allows for a chance to gain a random Eureka and Civic Boost each turn when sending an envoy to a city they suzerain. This encourages diplomatic engagement and strategic expansion. Additionally, the Hagstorian League gains an extra Diplomatic Policy Card Slot in the Classical, Renaissance, Modern, and Information Eras, providing greater flexibility in governance. The unique Hag Library, replacing the standard Library, offers increasing Science and Culture yields based on the era of its construction, alongside a steady stream of Great Scientist points.

Unique Unit and Gameplay Focus

The Hagstorian League also introduces the Lecture Legion, a replacement for the Spearman. This defensive unit boasts an impressive +10 Combat Strength when defending, making it a stalwart guardian of your cities and borders. The Clio Aite mod offers a compelling new way to play Civilization VI, rewarding strategic planning, diplomatic finesse, and a keen eye for historical progression.
