At the heart of this rework is the Jinja, a unique Japanese district that replaces the standard Preserve. This district is not only cheaper to build but also offers substantial benefits.

• Provides up to 3 Housing, scaling with your Appeal.
• Expands your influence with Culture Bombs on adjacent neutral tiles.
• Boosts the Appeal of neighboring tiles by 1.
• Can be constructed adjacent to your City Center.
• Offers +1 Amenity when built on Woods and increases the adjacency bonus for Specialty Districts from Woods.
• All tiles within cities containing a Jinja gain +2 Appeal during ongoing projects.

Tokugawa’s Reign Reimagined

Tokugawa’s leader ability, “Taihei,” has also been refined. Domestic trade routes to your capital now yield increased Culture, Science, and Gold based on the number of specialty districts present. Furthermore, cities within a six-tile radius of your capital will enjoy significant Amenity and Loyalty bonuses, with a global Appeal boost to all your tiles when at peace.
