New Civilizations Emerge

“Anno Domini: A New Dawn” brings a host of fascinating new civilizations to the world stage, each with their own unique leaders and strategic advantages.

• The Ptolemaic Kingdom: Step into the sandals of Ptolemy Soter or the legendary Cleopatra as they lead this powerful successor state.
• Carthage: Command the might of Carthage under the guidance of Dido or the brilliant tactician Hannibal.
• Dumnonii: Explore the Roman Britain era with the Dumnonii, led by Togodumnos, offering a distinct tribal challenge.
• Nabataea: Gamilat returns to lead Nabataea, bringing the valuable Caravanserei unique improvement to your empire.
• Garamantes: Reacquaint yourself with Djalla and Asbyte as they lead the Garamantes in their pursuit of expansion and influence.

Beyond these new entries, existing civilizations also see strategic shifts, with Djoser now at the helm of Egypt, providing a new dynamic to this classic faction.

Enhanced Gameplay Modes

The mod introduces two exciting new gameplay modes to further diversify your Civilization VI experience. The “City States start with Walls” mode immediately bolsters the defenses of neutral cities, encouraging more strategic interactions and potentially altering early-game expansion paths. Alternatively, the “Barbarian Fury” mode injects a heightened level of threat from barbarian encampments, demanding constant vigilance and a robust military presence.

Furthermore, all civilizations gain access to the “Rail Chariot,” a powerful ranged unit available from the moment “The Wheel” is researched, offering a significant early-game advantage to those who prioritize its development. Each unique item and civilization within “Anno Domini: A New Dawn” is accompanied by historically inspired “Historic Moment” images, adding a rich visual layer to the gameplay.
