Unleash the Power of the Kami with the “Kami’s Blessing” Mod for Civilization VI

Prepare for an entirely new strategic layer in your Sid Meier’s Civilization VI campaigns with the “Kami’s Blessing” mod, a comprehensive expansion that introduces a unique religious, economic, military, and global threat system centered around the enigmatic Kami. This mod offers a deeply integrated experience, blending city management with divine intervention and an apocalyptic challenge that will test the mettle of every civilization.

Core Gameplay Enhancements

The heart of this mod lies in its innovative new systems. The “Japanese Sweet Shop” provides a significant boost to Gold, Culture, Faith, Housing, and Amenities, while also offering crucial city support. This is further amplified by “Kami’s Faith,” a unique pantheon that bolsters your Sweet Shops and religious units, granting enhanced movement and spread capabilities. To solidify your divine dominion, construct the “Ancient Shrine,” a religious wonder that enhances Faith and Culture outputs, strengthens Sweet Shops and religious units empire-wide, and bestows valuable promotions upon completion.

The Way of the Warrior Monk

Engage in a new brand of warfare with the introduction of the “Samurai Warrior” and the unique “Kami Warrior” unit. The Kami Warrior is a formidable melee unit with a fixed combat strength, the ability to build Sweet Shops, and impressive mobility. Its advanced promotion tree offers potent abilities such as increased vision, area-of-effect attacks, and even the power to convert fallen foes. When the Ancient Shrine is built, both your existing and newly trained Samurai Warriors and Kami Warriors receive a significant experience boost, becoming more powerful with each passing turn.

The Kami’s Descent: A World Under Threat

As your civilization progresses, a world-ending threat emerges: the “Kami’s Descent.” This event triggers a global crisis where a powerful “Kami Curse” spawns, threatening all units not under divine protection. The Kami itself possesses immense power, capable of devastating armies and altering the very landscape of the world. Your objective is to work with or against other civilizations to defeat this overwhelming foe, earning valuable rewards based on your contribution to the global effort.
