Tired of starting each Noita run from scratch? Pankki Kauppa introduces a robust meta-progression system, allowing your efforts to translate into lasting advantages across multiple playthroughs. This mod brings a persistent layer of growth, rewarding your dedication with permanent upgrades and a dynamic shop that evolves alongside your character.

Earning and Leveling

At its core, Pankki Kauppa offers two intertwined currencies: Meta Gold and Experience Points (XP). Every achievement in your run contributes equally to both. Meta Gold is your spendable currency for the persistent shop, while XP fuels your permanent level progression, maxing out at Level 20. Your level dictates the power and availability of items in the shop, ensuring that higher levels bring greater rewards.

Sources of Progression

• Boss Kills: Grant a significant boost to your Meta Gold and XP.
• Orbs: Collecting these valuable items contributes to your progression.
• Victories: Completing a run provides a substantial reward.
• Holy Mountain Checkpoints: Earn progression by reaching these safe havens (configurable).
• Gold Peak Percentage: A portion of the gold accumulated during a run contributes to your meta-progression (configurable).

Be aware that death has consequences: a portion of your Meta Gold will be lost upon death, with an additional penalty if your demise remains unavenged at the start of your next run. However, your hard-earned XP and level are always retained.

The Persistent Shop

Located conveniently at the cave entrance, before you even descend into the Mines, the Pankki Kauppa shop is a constant presence in every seed. This shop doesn’t just offer random loot; it scales with your player level. Starting with basic spell slots, it expands to offer potions, wands, and even perks as you level up. The quality and tier of items available increase with your level, as do their prices, creating a balanced economy where better gear comes at a higher cost.

Purchases are made directly from your Meta Gold, with no need to carry physical gold within a run. The shop’s live sign conveniently displays your current level, Meta Gold, and XP progress, updating instantly with every transaction.

Co-op Integration (Entangled Worlds)

Pankki Kauppa seamlessly integrates with Entangled Worlds co-op. Each player enjoys their own individual progression, with separate Meta Gold, XP, and levels. Items in the shop spawn in stacks, with quality and price tailored to each player’s specific level. The shop sign provides a clear overview of all players’ progress, and milestones like boss kills and victories are synced, benefiting the entire team.
