This mod transforms your wands into conduits for potent elemental combinations, allowing you to craft devastating spells on the fly and imbue yourself with powerful temporary buffs.

Mastering Elemental Synthesis

The core of the Magicka mod lies in its innovative orb combination system. When wielding a staff, you can summon a special panel by holding the left mouse button. Simply move your mouse in the desired direction to add orbs, then release to finalize your selection. Combining different elemental orbs creates unique effects:

• Arcane + Water: Synthesize a Poison orb.
• Fire + Water: Create a potent Steam orb.
• Cold + Water: Forge a chilling Ice orb.

Diverse Casting Options

Once you’ve assembled your orb combination, the possibilities for unleashing your power are vast. Right-clicking your mouse will launch a projectile or beam, with effects varying based on the orbs used. For instance, an Ice orb might unleash a shard, while Life or Arcane orbs could manifest as devastating lasers.

Alternatively, press your secondary attack key (recommended to be bound to ‘Q’ in your settings) to engage in a different form of spellcasting. This opens up a new layer of tactical options, from defensive shields to area-of-effect assaults.

Imbuing and Magicka Casting

Beyond direct attacks, your orb combinations can either imbue you with powerful buffs or, when specific elemental sequences are met, trigger potent Magicka spells.

Imbue Effects:

• Water: Dampens enemies, reducing their electrical resistance.
• Life: Allows attacks to heal enemies (and yourself!).
• Electricity, Fire, Cold, Ice, Arcane, Poison: Imbue attacks with corresponding elemental damage and effects.
• Steam: Speeds up your projectiles.
• Earth: Grants a temporary buff for your next attack to generate an area-of-effect explosion.

Magicka Casting:

When your orb combination aligns with a specific Magicka sequence, a prompt will appear. Pressing your secondary attack key at this moment unleashes powerful, pre-defined Magicka spells. Additionally, incorporating a Shield orb into your combination can grant you temporary elemental resistances. If cast alone, the Shield orb provides a modest defensive barrier.
