Ever wished you could take to the skies in Noita? This charming mod lets you do just that by transforming your player character into a delightful little birb! More than just a cosmetic change, this mod offers a suite of features that can be toggled and customized to your liking, allowing you to truly embrace your avian alter ego.

Embrace Your Inner Birb

At its core, this mod replaces your character’s sprite with a cute bird, but the fun doesn’t stop there. Almost all of the mod’s features, aside from the visual transformation, can be adjusted or completely disabled through the mod’s settings menu. While some less common animations are still a work in progress, the developer is slowly but surely adding more content.

New Material: Feathers and More!

Prepare to encounter a brand new material: Feathers! These light and highly flammable particles will flutter down as you move or take damage. The mod introduces customizable effects for consuming feathers, along with several alchemical reactions they can participate in. Beyond feathers, you’ll discover three other unique materials, each with their own subtle properties and interactions within the game’s complex world.

Altering Your Avian Existence

This mod introduces significant stat changes that reflect your new feathered form, with two distinct configurations:

• Birb Floof: Experience longer-lasting stains, increased damage from heat and fire, reduced damage from cold, and a slight decrease in melee attack effectiveness.
• Lightweight: Gain enhanced speed and range for flight, though your upward momentum is slightly curbed. Stuns from knockback will now persist until you land and for a short duration afterward. Be aware that attacks that penetrate your defenses, such as slices and acid, will deal increased damage.

Feather Reactions and Alchemy

Feathers can interact with the world in fascinating ways, unlocking new alchemical possibilities:

• Certain interactions with existing game materials can lead to explosive outcomes or the creation of magical liquids.
• Combining feathers with specific substances can result in powerful speed buffs or the generation of toxic sludge.
• New reactions allow feathers to transform into other potent substances or even transmute existing materials.
• Discover secret interactions with rare substances that can lead to the creation of lucky feathers, which in turn can yield gold, valuable alchemical components, or even a condensed form of molten gold.
