Elevate Your Noita Experience with Better Bad Perks

Tired of agonizing over perk choices in the Holy Mountain, feeling forced to select the “least bad” option? The Better Bad Perks mod for Noita is here to inject new life and viability into those underappreciated buffs, transforming your runs and opening up exciting new build possibilities.

Revitalizing Underwhelming Perks

This mod breathes new life into many of Noita’s less glamorous perks, making them significantly more useful and enjoyable. The goal is to eliminate the feeling of having only a handful of “correct” choices, encouraging more experimental and rewarding gameplay.

Key Enhancements in Better Bad Perks

Better Bad Perks introduces a host of impactful changes. Keep an eye out for perks with distinctive gold corners on their icons, signaling their enhanced nature before you commit.

  • Vomit to Rats: Now summons a Pea Soup potion alongside Vomit. Rats endure twice as long, and farts transform into up to 50 Hämis allies that share the same duration.
  • Rage Fueled Levitation: Grants 5 seconds of Berserkium upon achieving a kill.
  • Cordyceps: Spawns two mushrooms instead of the usual one.
  • Fungal Disease: Fires a much greater number of stronger projectiles that linger in the air. The resulting exploding mushrooms now unleash a pillar of projectiles upwards, capable of eliminating enemies positioned above.
  • Kills to Mana: Restores mana for a substantially extended period.
  • Revenge Rats: Consistently spawns multiple rats when taking damage, with rats lasting twice as long. All rat-related perks now increase the number of rats released, with a boosted maximum of 50.
  • Levitation Trail: Replaces standard sparks with a focused, rapid stream of downward-firing projectiles.
  • Revenge Explosion: Features an explosion radius that is now double its original size.
  • Plague Rats: Consistently spawns multiple rats upon defeating an enemy, with rats lasting twice as long.

Your Feedback Shapes the Future

The creator of Better Bad Perks is actively seeking community input to further refine and expand the mod. If you have suggestions for other perks that deserve an overhaul, or feedback on the balance of the current changes, your input is highly valued. The aim is to enhance the Noita experience without drastically disrupting its core gameplay flow.
