To establish an automated route, you’ll need two Hauler Chests: one at the source settlement and another at the destination. Once placed, you can configure the sending chest to specify which settlement it should ship to. You can even set a threshold – a minimum number of item stacks – before a shipment is initiated, ensuring efficient use of Hauler trips.

Once the sending chest reaches its designated threshold, you simply add a “Hauling Mission” to your Mission Board and cover the travel cost. The Hauler NPC will then expertly collect the goods and deliver them directly to the designated Hauler Chest at the other settlement.
