Ricky’s survival strategy is… unconventional. He’s restricted from crafting most advanced scientific contraptions, but he does have a knack for creating essential items like gunpowder, science machines, and, most importantly, cigarettes. His unique skillset ensures a different approach to technological progression.
Julian’s Calculated Approach
Julian, ever the schemer, boasts a significant damage bonus, making him a formidable force in combat. However, his leadership qualities come at a cost; he moves noticeably slower than other characters. He also possesses the ability to craft his signature Rum and Coke, a drink that has interesting effects on everyone who partakes.
Bubbles and His Feline Friends
Bubbles has a special connection with the local wildlife, gaining sanity when near Catcoons and their dens. He also benefits from a science bonus, allowing him to delve into research. However, his sensitive nature means he suffers increased sanity loss during the twilight hours, at night, and when confronted by monsters. Beware, for killing a Catcoon will incur a significant sanity penalty!
New Consumables
This mod also introduces two new craftable items:
* **Cigarettes:** A quick fix for sanity, but at a cost to health. Crafted using rope, cut grass, and ash.
* **Rum and Coke:** A potent concoction with varied effects. While Julian benefits, others may find themselves impaired. Crafted using berries, honey, and ice.
