The Guardian You Can Build

Not all Terror Snowmen are hostile. With the right components, you can craft your very own guardian. The Snowman Kit, requiring ice, twigs, and a carrot, can be assembled at the Alchemy Engine. Deploying this kit summons a loyal protector that patrols a designated area, automatically defending against nearby hostile creatures. It prioritizes ranged snowball attacks but will engage in close-quarters combat when necessary. Beyond its offensive capabilities, the guardian snowman actively extinguishes accidental fires and emits a cooling aura, providing a welcome respite from the heat. However, this stalwart defender slumbers peacefully at night unless a threat emerges.

Maintaining Your Icy Companion

Terror Snowmen require care to survive. Their “snowpack” meter depletes over time, especially during warmer seasons. While it regenerates naturally during snowfall and in winter, it slowly drains in spring and autumn, and rapidly melts in the summer heat. When the snowpack is low, the snowman begins to lose health. To keep your guardian (or to harvest resources from a wild one) alive and well, you’ll need to replenish its snowpack and health by feeding it ice.
