Rui Ta’s Unique Abilities

Rui Ta possesses a distinct set of skills centered around flora, allowing for both passive benefits and active combat advantages. Her core stats are:

• Health: 90
• Hunger: 100
• Sanity: 200

Her abilities include:

• Universal Bloom: Standing near flowers gradually restores Sanity, with the effect amplifying based on the number of nearby flowers. However, harvesting common flowers will deduct Sanity.
• Floral Illusion: Rui Ta can craft living butterflies from petals, adding a touch of life and potential utility to her floral magic.
• Rooted Transformation: Pressing the ‘Z’ key transforms Rui Ta into a terrifying Carnivorous Plant form. In this state, she slowly regenerates health at a high Hunger cost and can summon seasonal Eye-plants. When her Hunger is critically low in this form, she will automatically consume nearby creatures, converting them into vital nutrients.
• Botanical Pheromones: While in her Carnivorous Plant form, Rui Ta gains immunity to attacks from other Carnivorous Plants and they become non-hostile towards her. She can also manually harvest resources from other Carnivorous Plants.

Floral Arsenal and World Bloom

The Rui Ta mod introduces a variety of new items and structures, primarily revolving around flowers. The centerpiece is the World Bloom, a construct that can be grown from 40 petals. This special structure not only attracts butterflies and occasionally fireflies but also passively absorbs spoiled and overripe food each morning. It also provides daily drops, including petals, golden pollen, and golden seeds, with a rare chance of yielding the coveted Eden Fruit.

From the World Bloom, players can craft numerous powerful items:

• Moonpetal Wreath: A lunar-aligned item granting a sanity aura and light, making the wearer immune to Moonlark attacks, and summons Moonpetal Eye-stalks.
• Golden Earth: A special turf that provides a movement speed bonus and significantly increased health regeneration for Rui Ta when rooted.
• Golden Flower Cane: Offers a speed boost and immunity to thorny plant damage, with an active ability to temporarily transform terrain into a special golden land.
• Floral Bouquets: Special weapons that summon helpful butterflies or their shadow and lunar variants to aid in combat.
• Floral Cannon: A deployable turret that can be loaded with various floral-based ammunition for devastating area-of-effect attacks.
