Dango Emotion Pack – DLC01
Express Yourself with the Dango Emotion Pack for Don’t Starve Together
Tired of the same old text chat in Don’t Starve Together? Want to add a little more personality and flair to your survival adventures? Look no further than the Dango Emotion Pack, a delightful cosmetic mod designed to bring a whole new level of expression to your gameplay.
What is the Dango Emotion Pack?
This mod introduces a vibrant collection of 16 hand-drawn stickers, affectionately known as “dango,” that you can use to communicate with your fellow survivors. It’s a purely cosmetic addition, seamlessly integrating with the core Don’t Starve Together experience without adding any gameplay mechanics or complexity. Think of it as a fun way to react to perilous situations, celebrate successful harvests, or simply share a laugh with your friends across the harsh wilderness.
How to Use Your New Emojis
Getting started with the Dango Emotion Pack is incredibly straightforward. As a server mod, it’s accessible to everyone in your game. Simply open the chat box by pressing ‘Y’ or ‘U’ and you’ll notice new emoji icons appear next to it. Clicking these icons will bring up the sticker selection interface. Navigate through the pages with the provided arrows to discover all the available dango. Clicking on a sticker will play a satisfying little ‘ding’ and instantly send it into the chat for all to see, or for specific friends if you choose.
Public vs. Private Expressions
The Dango Emotion Pack offers flexibility in how you share your emotions:
- Public Stickers: Send a dango that everyone in the game can see, perfect for general reactions or group announcements.
- Private Stickers: Choose to send a sticker to specific nearby players, allowing for more personal or subtle communication. You can even directly access the private interface to target a particular survivor.
A Community Effort
This charming mod is a collaborative effort, with the artistic talent and animation coming from Orange-Flavored Juice, and the foundational code being a simplified version from the Cat Training Master’s library. It’s a testament to the creativity within the Don’t Starve Together modding community, offering a small but impactful way to enhance your multiplayer sessions.
