Once assembled, a generous placement area is required, so plan your location carefully as huts cannot be clustered too closely together. Upon completion, you’ll find yourself enveloped by a substantial structure, complete with Wood Gates that serve as functional doors.

Your new hut comes equipped with several distinctive elements designed to enhance your survival experience:

• Chiminea: This is the heart of your hut, offering a more resilient fire pit that stands strong against the rain. Be warned: hammering the Chiminea will cause the entire structure to collapse.
• Protective Walls: These walls share a collective health pool and provide a valuable defense against encroaching mobs. However, they are not indestructible and will degrade over time. Repairing them with Boards offers a modest health boost. Due to their vulnerability to fire, be sure to protect your hut from wildfires and lightning strikes.
• Structural Integrity: A collapsing hut will damage everything within its vicinity, including structures and even yourself. It will also scatter some of the building materials used in its construction.
• Comforting Roof: While sheltered beneath your hut’s roof, your temperature will gradually stabilize towards a comfortable 30 degrees. This effect aids in cooling down and significantly speeds up the drying process.
• Enhanced Bed Board: Combining a Bed Board with any sleeping bag from your inventory allows for a more durable and stat-regenerating sleeping experience. Fur Rolls, in particular, become even more effective than standard Tents.
